Heroin and Opiate Abuse - A Program for Parents
Please join the Borough of Waldwick's Stigma-Free Initiative and the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office for a presentation on the dangers of experimentation with prescription medications, specifically opiates, and how they correspond directly to the increase in heroin use by young people. Presenters will provide first-hand accounts and examples of heroin-related arrests, overdoses and deaths throughout Bergen County. Parents will leave with a practical, real-world education on the chilling effects heroin can have on the lives of their loved ones and the importance of good decision making.
When: Monday, April 30th, 2018, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: Little Theater, Waldwick High School, 155 Wyckoff Avenue, Waldwick, NJ
This event is free of charge. Registration is recommended but not required. Seating is limited.
